HC Deb 03 February 1881 vol 258 c67
MR. D. O'CONOR

complained that, in the list of the first Division on Tuesday morning, his name was placed among those who voted with the majority. At the time when the Division took place he was not in the House, having gone home after 2 A.M., thinking that there was no prospect of a Division on the Main Question. It, therefore, appeared as if some person had been representing him. In some evening papers he was alluded to as one of the few Irish Members who opposed the Divisions of Irish Members opposite. As he had not taken part in any of those Divisions he wished to make it clear that he had not voted with the majority.

MR. SPEAKER

The hon. Member having drawn the attention of the House to a mistake in the Division Lists, the Lists will accordingly be corrected.
