§ THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. J. M'LAREN)In answer to the first part of the Question, I can state that the Report of the Departmental Committee on the Register House has been prepared. In answer to the second part of the Question, I beg to say that the Committee have recommended a modified application of the Civil Service system; but further than that I am not in a position to report.
