O'DONNELLasked the Secretary of State for India, Whether it is a fact that an outbreak has occurred in the gaol of Gulburga, in which a large number of native prisoners and Sepoys 363 have been killed and wounded; and, whether he can state the exact number of casualties, and what steps are being taken to ascertain the causes of the outbreak?
THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTON, in reply, said, that Gulburga Gaol was in the Native State of Hyderabad, and belonged to the Nizam, and that no official Report had been received on the subject.
