HC Deb 28 April 1881 vol 260 c1312
MR. LABOUCHERE

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any communications have been exchanged between Her Majesty's Government and Foreign Governments, in regard to the right of asylum, and the extradition of political offenders?

SIR CHARLES W. DILKE

Sir, Her Majesty's Government have reason to believe that communications have been exchanged between foreign Governments with regard to the right of asylum and the extradition of political offenders; but they themselves have received no invitation upon the subject.
