THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

said: I hope it may be in our power to make some progress with the Army Estimates, and finish the Civil Service Supplementary Estimates this evening. If that should be the case, we propose on Thursday to take the Civil Service Estimates, and on Monday next to take the Navy Estimates. I would also mention that on Thursday I propose to introduce the Bill, of which I have already spoken, for the allocation of the vacant seats.
