asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether, in the negotiations which were now going on for the renewal of the Commercial Treaty with France, the Government will keep before them the question of Bounties granted on Defined Sugar exported from France, with a view to their termination?

When the negotiations for a new Commercial Treaty with France are set on foot the Sugar Question will be included in the subjects for discussion between the two Governments.
