LOWTHERSir, I shall be very happy to show the hon. and learned Gentleman the Correspondence he refers to; but as a good many of the communications which passed were verbal, and would, therefore, not appear in print, he will probably agree with me that it would hardly be desirable to lay the Papers upon the Table.
MR. SULLIVANWould the right hon. Gentleman state with whom the communications were made? I may say I am not in the slightest degree acquainted with these horsey matters.
