CAPTAIN PRICE (for Mr. SACKVILLE)asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, with reference to the agreement by which, if the English and French Members of the Egyptian Cabinet were dismissed without the sanction of England and France, the control instituted by the decree of November 1876 was, ipso facto, to revive, Whether he can inform the House that this arrangement has now taken effect; and, if so, who are the two controllers appointed?
§ MR. BOURKESir, the control has been revived on the part of the Egyptian Government; but Major Baring and Monsieur Bellaigne de Bughas have refused to act.
