CAPTAIN PRICEasked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether, under the Order in Council of June 29th, "limiting the number and amount of Greenwich Hospital age pensions," the Admiralty are empowered to limit to 2s. 6d. a-day Naval pensions which might otherwise be in excess of that amount, irrespective of the age pensions?
§ MR. W. H. SMITH, in reply, said, that the Order in Council did not contain any such provision as that to which his hon. and gallant Friend referred. There was no intention on the part of the Admiralty to limit to 2s. 6d. a-day naval pensions which might otherwise be in excess of that amount.
