HC Deb 25 July 1878 vol 242 c229
MR. CHARLES LEWIS

I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether it is the intention of the Government to state to-day the names of the Commissioners under the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Bill?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

Sir, I cannot name the Board of Commissioners to be appointed under the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Bill until that Bill has passed through Committee. The names shall he communicated to the House before it has parted with the Bill—at its next stage.
