HC Deb 06 August 1878 vol 242 c1302
MR. NEWDEGATE

asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, as the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Bill stands for consideration to-morrow, At what stage of that Bill he will give the House the names of the Commissioners proposed to be appointed under it?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

I stated yesterday that it was proposed to fix that Bill for Monday next. I shall be prepared on the Report to state the names of the Commissioners —that is to say, on Monday, not tomorrow.
