§ MR. SCLATER-BOOTH, in reply, said the Highways Bill would afford facilities for dealing with these structures in the manner suggested by the Question. He did not say the Bill 968 would vary the incidence of the charge which now fell upon the county rates; but there were different categories of county bridges which might be dealt with in different ways.
