HC Deb 31 March 1876 vol 228 c968
MR. ARTHUR MOORE

asked the Secretary of State for War, What are the other "Special Allowances" besides an allowance for band expenses which the sum of £13,190, voted for the Foot Guards in Vote 1, Sub-head E, of the Army Estimates, is intended to defray?

MR. GATHORNE HARDY

, in reply, said, he would not trouble the House by reading a long list of the "special allowances" in question; but if the hon. Member would move for their production they should be laid on the Table.
