HC Deb 10 March 1875 vol 222 c1592

Order for Second Reading read.

MR. GIBSON

moved that the Bill be now read a second time.

SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH

said, he did not object to the second reading, but thought the Bill would require consideration by the Synod of the Disestablished Church in Ireland. Therefore he hoped the hon. and learned Gentleman would fix a day for going into Committee which would allow such consideration in the meantime.

MR. GIBSON

named the 20th April for going into Committee.

Motion agreed to.
