HC Deb 01 March 1875 vol 222 c991
MR. BOLCKOW

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he intends to introduce, during the present Session, a measure for Police Superannuation?

MR. ASSHETON CROSS,

in reply, said, that the question was, no doubt, of some importance; but he did not think that the Government were yet in full possession of all the facts of the case, and it was therefore his intention to move the appointment of a Committee to consider the matter, in the hope of dealing with it that Session, if possible, after the Committee should have reported.
