LORD HENRY LENNOXSir, the survey of South Wilts, as a whole, has not yet been commenced; but at the urgent request of the Antiquarian Society, the district about Salisbury, including Stonehenge, has been surveyed. Neither has Dorsetshire been yet surveyed, for while fully admitting the great importance of that county in many respects, yet it is not a mineral county, and I have, therefore, with regret, been unable, as yet, to order it to be surveyed.
