asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, Whether he can conveniently communicate to the House the intentions of the Government with reference to the continuance of "The Glebe Loans (Ireland) Act, 1870? "

, in reply, said, he had communicated with the Lord Chancellor of Ireland and with the Treasury on the subject, and he was able to announce that it was intended to propose the continuance of the Act for three years.
