§ SIR HENRY STORKSSir, the new valise equipment will not be supplied to troops taking part in the coming Manœuvres who are not already provided with it. An alteration has been made in the pattern of leggings to be issued next year; but trials are being made in order to ascertain whether a boot could not be introduced which would combine the advantages of boot and legging. A water bottle of the Italian pattern is being introduced into the service.
