§ SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACHasked the Secretary to the Local Government Board, When a decision will be given by the Local Government Board on the charges against Mr. Goding, assistant overseer at Cheltenham, which were inquired into in March last by an Inspector of the Board; and what is the reason for the delay in arriving at a decision?
§ MR. HIBBERTsaid, that since the report of the Inspector on the charges 1743 against Mr. Goding, assistant overseer at Cheltenham, had been received by the Local Government Board, further statements had been made which would have to be considered, but there would be no unnecessary delay on the part of the Board in coming to a decision; he was, however, unable to say when the decision would probably be arrived at.
