GRAVESsaid, he wished to ask the Secretary to the Board of Trade, If he has received information from the Ballast Board that important changes 484 have taken place in the banks of the Irish Coast between Tuskar and Dublin; and, if so, whether the attention of the Admiralty has been called to the same, with the view of having them promptly re-surveyed?
MR. SHAW LEFEYREsaid, in reply, that the Commissioners of the Irish Lights had informed the Board of Trade that the commander of their vessel employed in the lighthouse service had reported some alterations of the banks between Tuskar and Dublin from those laid down in the Admiralty charts. The subject was now under the consideration of the Admiralty, and the Irish Lights Commissioners had been requested to give more detailed information as to the changes.
