§ MR. STEPHEN CAVEThis Bill, Sir, was postponed to a distant day, in order to give the Government and the country ample time to consider the intricate question of railway legislation. The opinion of all parties will doubtless be guided very much by the proceedings of the Debenture Holders' Committee, by the Royal Commission, and by other circumstances to which I need not advert. If the hon. Member will kindly repeat his question a few weeks hence, I shall probably be able to give him an answer.
