§ MR. BERESFORD HOPEsaid, he trusted that, after the discussion which had taken place on Friday last, the third reading of this Bill would be postponed until some day when it might be conveniently discussed. A letter had appeared in The Times that morning from a very eminent painter, Sir Edwin Landseer, which rendered it all the more desirable that the House should have a regular National Gallery debate.
