HC Deb 17 April 1866 vol 182 c1507
MR. HORSFALL

said, he wished to ask Mr. Attorney General, Whether in the arrangements of the new Courts of Justice any provision has been contemplated for an increase in the number of Judges?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

replied that no express provision of that kind had been deemed to be necessary. The arrangements entered into had been based upon existing requirements. It might hereafter become expedient to have extra Courts which would at the present time be useless.
