said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether the number, 46, given in the 18th column of page 53 of the Criminal Returns for England and Wales for 1852, as that of persons found "Not Guilty on Trial," includes, or does not include, any persons tried upon a charge of Murder and found guilty of Manslaughter only?
