said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether his attention has been drawn to the statements made by the Government Commissioner, Professor Gamzee, as to the losses inflicted on British farmers by the importation of diseased cattle and sheep; and whether it is his intention to propose any remedy for the evils complained of?
