MR. LONGFIELD

said, he wished to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland, If he will suspend his proceedings with respect to the Bill for Vaccination in Ireland until the Government shall have determined upon the course they will pursue with regard to the Vaccination Acts in England.

SIR ROBERT PEEL

said, the Bill which he had introduced for compulsory vaccination merely related to Ireland. He did not think, therefore, that it was necessary to wait until it was seen what steps would be taken in reference to the matter in England.
