HC Deb 30 June 1863 vol 171 c1766
SIR MORTON PETO

said, he wished to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty, Whether it is intended to erect an additional wing to the Nautical School Buildings at Greenwich which would not be in keeping with the new wing lately erected at a considerable cost to the funds of Greenwich Hospital; and whether there would be any objection to an outline plan of the proposed wing being laid before Parliament before incurring any further expenditure on account thereof?

MR. STANSFELD

, in reply, said, no plan had been adopted by the Board. The subject had been partly considered, and he had received a Report upon it that day. There would be no objection to lay this Report upon the table; and, in the mean time, he should be happy to show the plans to his hon. Friend.
