POWELLsaid, he would beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education, When the Report of Council on Education will be distributed; and whether it is the intention of Government to propose the Vote for Education before Members have had ample time for consideration of the Report?
§ MR. LOWE,in reply, said, the Report would be distributed in the course of next week, and therefore would be in the hands of Members probably before the Vote came on; but he could not undertake, in the present state of public business, to postpone the Vote even should that unfortunately not bee case.
