HC Deb 04 June 1863 vol 171 c321
SIR GEORGE BOWYER

I beg, Sir, to claim the attention of the House for a few moments, on a personal matter. It will be in the recollection of the House that in a speech which I recently delivered on the affairs of Italy I gave an account of a conversation which took place between Mr. Odo Russell and the French General in command at Rome. It is my duty to inform the House that I have received a letter from Mr. Odo Russell, in which he states that the account I gave of that conversation is inaccurate.

MR. HADFIELD

complained, that the statement made by the hon. Member was bare and unintelligible. ["Order, order!"]
