§ SIR HARRY VERNEYSir, the Royal Commission having shown the necessity for a General Military Hospital and Medical School, and a new Hospital being about to be erected at Aldershot, will Her Majesty's Government take into consideration whether this Hospital might not be used for the purpose contemplated by the Royal Commission.
GENERAL PEELSir, in reply, I have to state that the question of erecting a General Military Hospital and Medical School is now under the consideration of the Government, and at some future period no doubt it will be necessary to erect a Hospital at Aldershot, to which a Medical School might very properly be annexed. But no money bas been taken for the purpose in the Estimates, and the matter is still under consideration.
