MR. FITZROYsaid, he wished to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether it is true, as stated in a daily paper, that at a recent Visitation the Commissioners in Lunacy discovered in a private provincial Lunatic Asylum a concealed cell, in which a man, who is stated to be in full possession of his faculties, had been for many years confined.
§ MR. WALPOLEsaid that, after making inquiry, he could not find that the Commissioners of Lunacy had made any such discovery.
