HC Deb 12 July 1858 vol 151 c1284
MR. HADFIELD

said, he rose to ask the Attorney General whether he intends to bring in a Bill next Session of Parliament to relieve Trustees from the severity of the present law, affecting them in the discharge of their duties under the instruments empowering them?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

said, that the important subject referred to by the hon. Member was now under the consideration of a Select Committee, and until that Committee had made its Report it would not be fit for him to offer an opinion, still less to pledge himself to introduce a measure.

MR. HADFIELD

said, he understood that the Committee had closed its labours.
