HC Deb 15 June 1857 vol 145 cc1758-9
SIR DENHAM NORREYS

asked whether it is proposed to go into Committee of Supply this day, or what day an opportunity will be given for discussing the question of the Survey of Scotland, on bringing up the Report of the Committee of Supply on the Army Estimates.

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

said, that the Committee of Supply stood the seventh in order, and there was, he apprehended, no prospect of its coming on that evening. With regard to the Report of the Committee of Supply, it would be placed first on the orders for Thursday, and after that the House would go into Committee of Supply on the Civil Service Estimates.
