said, he would now bog to ask the hon. Under Secretary for War whether the soldiers who, without blame on their parts, lost their kits at the time of landing in the Crimea, or at any subsequent period, had been or would be allowed compensation for the same?

MR. FREDERICK PEEL

said, that the soldiers who had lost their kits in the Crimea, without any fault on their parts, would be entitled to compensation for that loss.
