HC Deb 01 March 1841 vol 56 cc1156-7
Lord John Russell

moved the Order of the Day for going into Committee of Supply.

Mr. Hume

begged to move for the return of which he had given notice, and which he thought the more important, seeing that it was intended to move for a very large additional force, in the course of the evening. The hon. Member then moved for "An Address to her Majesty, that she will be graciously pleased to direct, that there be laid before this House copies or extracts of the correspondence between the Secretary of State for the Foreign Department, and the Governments of France, Austria, Prussia, Russia, and Turkey, since 1838, respecting the Pacha of Egypt, and the inter- ference with the province of Syria."— Agreed to.
