HC Deb 22 June 1831 vol 4 c253
Mr. Hunt

rose, to bring forward his Motion respecting the interference of Peers in the election of Members of that House. He explained that his object was to preserve the character of that House by presenting the interference of Peers, for which purpose he meant to move certain Resolutions as already explained; but finding no chance of carrying them he would beg leave to withdraw the Resolution of which he had given notice.

Ordered accordingly.
