In a Committee of Supply, it was resolved on a motion of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, that a sum not exceeding 1,900,000l. be granted for discharging interest on Exchequer Bills; and that 290,000l. for Exchequer Bills, and 10,000l. for Debentures, (making in all 300,000l.), being paid to the Bank of England, on account of the Commissioners for the reduction of the National Debt.
