HC Deb 30 July 1931 vol 255 cc2444-5
50. Mr. GOULD

asked the Minister of Health whether he has received the report of the public inquiry regarding the proposed sewage works at Timsbury, in Clutton rural district and when sanction may be expected to the scheme?

Mr. GREENWOOD

The inspector's report has been received and considered. The scheme has been approved in principle and the local authority are now preparing revised plans embodying certain suggestions which have been made to them. As soon as the plans are received formal sanction will be given.

Mr. GOULD

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether the difficulty about the site has been overcome?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I understand all difficulties have been overcome now.
