§ Mr. BoatengI understand from the Chief Constable of Gloucestershire Constabulary that the force has 33 sites for automatic speed cameras and that the cameras were first brought into use during 1995. There were 526 prosecutions in 1995 and 3,705 in 1996. Figures for 1997 are not yet available.
