Clare Short

I have approved a new Department for International Development Country Strategy Paper for Malawi which has been agreed with the Malawi Government. The Paper envisages a strong long-term partnership to promote sustainable development, equity and human rights in Malawi.

I will send the hon. Member a copy of the Country Strategy Paper and place a copy in the Library of the House.
