To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if he will list the grants and awards that require bids from applicants which his Department is responsible for administering and awarding(a) nationally and (b) that people and groups within Wakefield Metropolitan District are eligible to bid for; if he will publish the deadlines for these applications; and if he will produce this list on a regular basis. The principal programme currently administered by my Department which requires bids from applicants in the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB). The announcement on the outcome of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) explained that there would be new rounds of the SRB. Partnerships in England will be eligible to bid, including those in the Wakefield Metropolitan District. An announcement on future bidding arrangements, and hence the deadline for applications, will be made shortly.
