To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received concerning Her Majesty's Government's proposals to provide training assistance to the Indonesian police force. [26955]

Mr. Fatchett

We have received representations from Members of Parliament, NGOs and members of the public expressing a number of views on the question of training assistance for the Indonesian police force and the best ways of contributing to the human rights situation in Indonesia.
