Mr. Faber

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has made to the Government of Zimbabwe in respect of violations of its Declaration of Rights agreed at Lancaster House on any property or interest of property. [26956]

Mr. Tony Lloyd

The Government of Zimbabwe have not, so far as we are aware, violated any of the Declaration of Rights agreed at Lancaster House.

Mr. Faber

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has held with the Department for International Development concerning aid provision to Zimbabwe during the United Kindgom's presidency of the EU. [26960]

Mr. Tony Lloyd

The Department for International Development and this Department consult regularly about policy towards Zimbabwe, including the provision of aid, and will continue to do so during our Presidency.

Mr. Faber

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has to raise the proposed seizure of land by the Government of Zimbabwe with his fellow EU foreign ministers during the United Kingdom's presidency. [26961]

Mr. Tony Lloyd

We regularly consult our EU partners about African issues, including Zimbabwe's land acquisition programme, and will continue to do so during our Presidency.
