§ Mr. IngramThe intensity of the fire and the resultant damage meant that the cause of the fire could not be categorically established. However, the investigation concluded that it had been started accidentally.
It is important to note that the fire did not prevent the Stevens Team from taking any appropriate investigative actions, nor were any of their intended investigative actions impeded as a result of the fire. All evidence that had been gathered was stored in duplicate on computer in Great Britain.
