§ Mr. Dewar[holding answer 12 December 1997]: My Department has dealings with a very large number of non-governmental organisations and suppliers of products and services. The Department is keeping the issue of the year 2000 compliance of its suppliers under review as part of its overall year 2000 work programme, in line with guidance provided by the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA).
