HC Deb 15 May 1996 vol 277 cc475-6W
Mr. Tony Banks

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much his Department spent on official hospitality in 1994–95 and the financial year to date; and what is the 1995–96 projected budget for official hospitality. [5581]

Mr. Horam

[pursuant to his reply, 18 December 1995, c. 935]: There was an error in the figure given for the Department's agencies. Expenditure on hospitality to the end of November 1995 was as follows:

£
Department 49,779
Agencies 19,277
Total 69,076

The projected total expenditure for 1995–96 that was provided for the agencies should therefore have been about £38,000, not £75,000.

Mr. Banks
