To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will estimate the additional amounts in the years 1995–96 and 1996–97 which would have been received by GPs in(a) Waltham Forest and Redbridge and (b) London if deprivation payments were based on information available in the 1991 census. [28023]

Deprivation payments for 1995–96 and 1996–97 are, in all cases, based on 1991 census data.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many general practitioners were registered in each family health service authority or its equivalent at 30 December in each of the last 20 years. [29202]
