To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many passengers arriving at United Kingdom ports of entry during 1995 and the first quarter of 1996 were referred to port medical inspectors for examination; what were the most common diagnoses made; and how many people have been(a) refused entry (i) wholly or (ii) partly on medical grounds and for what medical reasons and (b) required to report for further medical treatment after entry, and for what medical reason.
