To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what assumptions have been made about the potential contribution towards the Government's target for social lettings deriving from the Ministry of Defence married quarters estate. [23101]

None. It is for local housing authorities and housing associations to decide how to apply their resources to create social lettings, and to consider what use they may be able to make of surplus MOD housing that becomes available in their local area.
