To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received concerning housing renewal issues in Jermyn street, Leicester. [23667]

No representations have been received about housing renewal issues from the residents of Jermyn street, Leicester.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he will be prepared to meet representatives of the residents of Jermyn street, Leicester, and the hon. Member for Leicester, East to discuss housing renewal issues. [23668]

Mr. Clappison

It is primarily for the Leicester city council to respond to the concerns of residents of Jermyn street, Leicester, about these housing renewal issues. Accordingly, I suggest that the hon. Member contacts the city's director of housing to discuss a possible meeting.
